Straightforward actual test preps November 21, 2009 Jerry Mason (Houston, TX) Nothing much to say here, these are the actual past LSATs combined into a book of ten. No extras such as explanations, although there is some general LSAT info at the beginning. Using these actual past LSATs is CRUCIAL to studying for the LSAT and this book of ten is the best value I've seen for them. Buy as many of the old tests as you can find!
Very slow... took 3 weeks to receive! September 10, 2009 L. Feintuch 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
The book took 3 weeks for me to get it! They say they have it packed and ready to ship within 2 days. After 2 weeks of waiting for the initial email which was supposed to say that it had shipped.... I emailed them. No response. Two days later I emailed them again and a received a response of... we just got the order from Amazon a few days ago and the mail must be slow because I didn't choose expedited shipping. Come on... 3 weeks for a book a few states away... give me a break!
Dissatisfied May 29, 2009 Royzeanne C. Adolfo 0 out of 8 found this review helpful
I thought the book was supposed to be in "new" condition and have little to no markings on the text. However, I was surprised to see that the book was worn out and had writing in many places of the book. I was very disappointed.
The Best January 27, 2009 Alan Bradin (Boston, MA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
These books are the most inexpensive source of real LSATs to study from. In addition, they also contain several sample comparative reading comprehension passages and questions, which were introduced in June 2007. I haven't seen a better source for practice of these types of questions.
Some will say that these tests vary significantly from the more recent tests. While I agree with this statement, the underlying foundation of logic and reasoning is the same.
Simply put, these books are a must-have for any LSAT prep.
Buy This Book! November 28, 2008 Todd Hagopian (Michigan) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This book will help you with the two things you need to master the LSAT: 1) Time Management. and 2) Be Ready For Anything.
After taking these ten practice tests, you will have a good idea on whether or not you can finish all of the sections in the allotted time (you must take them as you would a normal test to be able to figure this out). You will also have seen 40 logic games, and just about every type of question you can see in the other sections. This is more valuable than you will ever realize, and you will thank this book after you do well on the test. There is nothing worse than getting surprised by a logic game in the testing room, and losing out on five questions by default.
I would highly recommend that you make the time to take as many practice tests as you can, and this book gives you ten great ones.
Good Luck!
