great self-help book September 26, 2009 Dr. Kenneth A. Wolkon I have been recommending this book for clients (I am a psychologist) for several years and have found it to be the most widely accepted and useful self-help book with a wide variety of problems. It is written in terms that poorly educated clients up to professional level can learn from.
Mind Over Mood August 24, 2009 J. Randle We adopted a child that had been severely abused for several years. Her counselor suggested this book and it has been excellent in understanding what she goes through in trying to live a "normal" life. It also helps her to overcome the automatic reactions she has because of her past.
I think this book would be helpful regardless of the level of abuse. To some degree, everyone experiences automatic thoughts. Learning to manage and control them in a positive way is good for everyone.
Helpfulness July 12, 2009 Paul D. Lorenz (Concord, NC) I have been reading many books about CBT, anxiety, and mindfulness. All three topic are important but this workbook makes CBT an easier and more proctive process. There isn't tons of reading to slow you down but it gets to the heart of the issues with your involvement and just not more reading.

I received the book in the condition I expected it to be in, slightly used but looking good overall. No wrinkles or dogeared pages. Very nice, thank you.
An excellent introduction to cognitive therapy July 7, 2009 Dr. Donna Comissiong (Trinidad, West Indies) This book is a must buy for people who are undergoing cognitive therapy. It helped me a lot, and I am sure it will help many other people...
