why? November 15, 2009 C. Bunch I had to buy this for a class. I wish I didn't buy it. Everything I needed to know in this book is available online, and online it is much easier to understand! At least it wasn't very expensive, so it's not like I threw away a fortune.
A solid read. November 9, 2009 Azrof (Georgia) As an English major, I found this book quite helpful; it contained not only what I wanted for my classes, but what I needed for ancillary work in the field.
Great job.

The MLA Handbook October 30, 2009 Ibrahim A. Almumayiz (Nashville, TN) The MLA Handbook is one of the better-known guidebooks to scholarly writing. It is indispensable to anyone - undergraduates preparing their semester papers, postgraduates organizing their dissertations, authors and scholars writing papers for publication in scholarly journals. The MLA Handbook has been one of the institutions of the world of scholarship, and is so well known and so widely relied upon as a guide book to scholary writing, that in reality a review of it would be superfluous, and a preaching to the converted.

MLA Handbook October 16, 2009 Charlotte J. Piscura (Bridgeport, WV) I purchased the MLA Handbook for my twins, who are freshman this year. They said they use it everyday in school, and that it has helped them a lot. Dealing with Amazon.com is always a good transaction!!!
