Product Description Readers of all ages will want to enroll! "On the first day of kindergarten, my teacher gave to me...the whole alphabet from A to Z!" Drawing on the rhythm and rich repetition of the familiar carol "The Twelve Days of Christmas," The Twelve Days of Kindergarten is a welcoming introduction to school. Upbeat text celebrates the new adventure of school, and hilariously detailed illustrations showcase kindergarteners that every child, teacher, and parent will recognize with glee. Youngsters will enjoy singing along as the teacher's gifts accumulate, building to the twelfth day-the day the new students settle in and discover they love school! As an added bonus, The Twelve Days of Kindergarten teaches both cardinal (one, two, three) and ordinal (first, second, third) numbers.

Great picture September 11, 2009 S. R. Jones (Dallas, TX USA) I love this book. The pictures are so detailed. My students loved looking at the pictures and finding all the little details in each one. Even though the story and words are simple the pictures are facinating and great for young readers and older ones alike.
The Twelve Days of Kindergarten June 30, 2009 Deborah Shoup (Mt. Plesant, PA) This is the cutest book for parents as well as toddlers and children. I bought it for my 5 year old granddaughter who is going to kindergarten in the fall, but my 2 year old grandson loves it even more than she does. The pictures have so much detail that even on the 20th reading, the children (and adults) are finding funny new sections of the drawing. The rhyme can be sung to "The 12 Days of Christmas," making it easy to memorize. Obviously, I love it.
Christmas gift January 6, 2009 Jacquelineyoung (Hubbardston) This book was on my granddaughters Christmas list. She is in college and is doing student teaching now. She wanted it for classroom use. I was pleased to find it on line and she was very happy to receive it.
A Joyful Introduction to Kindgergarten November 28, 2007 Karen Wilber (Florida, USA) This book is a fantastic example of how text and illustrations can combine to create a picture book that begs to be read again and again. Each time we read it, we followed a different character through the book.
The Twelve Days of Kindergarten-A Counting Boook September 18, 2007 Michele Long This is a good book for kids and parents starting off the year. Its a light hearted look--good for the nerves. It has entertaining illustrations.
