Editorial Reviews:
Product Description Clinical Laboratory Science Review is the essential resource for students preparing to sit for the certification and licensure examinations in clinical laboratory science. The order and progression of questions parallels the presentation of classroom content in CLS, and the answers serve as a study guide as well as a self-assessment. Seems like a very good review book September 25, 2009 CLSstudent (Vermillion, SD) This seems like it will be a good review for someone just finishing their CLS degree. However I am just beginning, so this book doesn't really help me yet as i had hoped it would in the present, but i will be sure to use it in the future!
CLS Review Book July 9, 2009 hocgoligal1 This book is well written and nicely set up. Each section is divided up with common questions grouped together. I really like that with each answer there is a reason given as to why that is the right answer. What I don't like about the book is that the answers are located on the same page so if you aren't careful you can end up seeing the answers before you answer the questions.
what a help April 10, 2009 Jane Ann Billings-hunt (Northeast kingdom) This study guide prepares me better for ASCP test than their study guide because it gives the answers to the questions with an explanation; therefore if I get the wrong answer, the explanation gives me the right answer and triggers the memory of the correct answer instead of just being wrong.
Clinical Laboratory Science Review February 13, 2009 Leo Summers (lab rat) This book provides a comprehensive review of the clinical lab. In encompasses both basic and more difficult questions and provides with a thorough explanation of the answers.
Decent Study Guide December 10, 2008 C. Capotosti (Tennessee) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
This is a pretty good study guide, however, when my classmates and I purchased it and started studying out of it, we found that there were several questions that were answered incorrectly by the authors. Our professors were the ones who corrected us when we used the explanations that were given in the book. However, that only occurred on a few of the questions so overall it is a good study guide when used in conjunction with the BOR study guide and also the Clinical Laboratory Science Review: A Bottom Line Approach.
