Product Description
Essential Clinical Anatomy, Fourth Edition presents the core anatomical concepts found in Clinically Oriented Anatomy, Sixth Edition in a concise, easy-to-read, and student-friendly format. This streamlined book that includes clinical Blue Boxes, surface anatomy, and medical imaging is an excellent review for the larger text and an ideal primary text for shorter medical courses and/or health professions courses with brief coverage of anatomy. The Fourth Edition features a modified layout with new and improved artwork. The clinical Blue Boxes are now grouped to reduce interruption of text and are categorized with icons to promote easier comprehension of clinical information. Expanded chapter introductory material includes Clinical Objectives and references to online case studies. A companion website includes fully searchable online text, interactive cases, USMLE-style questions, and clinical Blue Box video podcasts. Online faculty resources include an Image Bank and a Question Bank.

Great! September 11, 2009 Jennifer Leighton This book came fast and was brand new! Thanks so much! It was a great experience!
I've seen better July 3, 2009 Zora (san francisco, ca) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I switched anatomy classes and left this book and the teacher behind. Along with my new anatomy teacher, I found "Principles of Human Anatomy" by Gerard J. Tortora and Mark Nielsen to be MUCH better: includes Latin and Greek name origins, logically organizes the body by systems and not regions, includes a glossary, and has great diagrams. Buy "Human Anatomy Lab Manual with Cat Dissections" to compliment "Principles of Human Anatomy" and you'll be ready to tackle anatomy class.
good book September 4, 2008 K. Fahringer This book was in decent condition, not as well as i expected, but still good. It shipped fast and overall I am happy.
My required anatomy text August 20, 2008 S. Chang 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This book was dry and boring. Nothing that I read stuck to me. The straight memorization of the BRS anatomy was much more useful than this book. However, this book does have some clinical examples that were used on my exams. It wasn't worth the money.
Excellent February 19, 2008 Salma Hayek (New York) I strongly recommend this book over the big book by Moore. This book (Essentials) contains all the most important information you need to know about the systems. It is thorough and straight to the point.
