Product Description
Basic Clinical Pharmacokinetics was designed to simplify pharmacokinetics to help busy practitioners and pharmacy students in clinical settings understand and visualize basic principles. An easy-to-read, case-study format has made the text a favorite among students, clinical professors, and practitioners. Part 1 provides a basic review of pharmacokinetic principles, with extensive explanations, graphic illustrations, and detailed algorithms. Part 2 explains the clinical applications of these principles to problems commonly encountered in the practice setting with specific drugs.

| Customer Reviews: Great for 2nd semester Pharmacy students and also to have in your personal library April 25, 2009 Brian S. Saide (Harlem NYC) Again although it says basic, it is very thorough. Definitely a great book for any practitioner to reference. Came packaged brand new exactly as described. Every purchase through Amazon or one of their affiliated companies, has come exactly as described and tends to arrive much sooner than the scheduled date. Cant beat that...:)

Worth buying February 9, 2008 A. A. Rubenstein 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
As a Pharm.D student, this book is an invaluable book for reviewing pharmacokinetics of some of the most important medications requiring therapeutic drug monitoring. The case-study format at the end of each section is conceptually helpful by placing PK into a clinical context.
One Of The Finest Books On Kinetics July 10, 1999 13 out of 17 found this review helpful
This is one of the best books anywhere written about pharmacokinetics. Contains easy to understand case studies and a very readable format. Dr. Winter is the leading expert in his field and the best author.
