I bought this software unaware of it not being able to work on a mac! luckily i can return it.

I used the question trainer to practice for the ANCC Medical-Surgical Nursing Exam. It was great to make tests suited to my needs and focus on med-surg and general nursing practice. With over 1000 questions dedicated to med-surg, it was a great review! It is an easy program to use-very user friendly. I passed them exam and am now a board certified nurse thanks in part to the NCLEX 4000 question trainer! I'm sure it would be essential in studying for the NCLEX as well.

Purchased this program to prepare me for the HESI. So impressed with the program, bought a 2nd one to give as a gift to a friend who is also attending nursing school.
You can set it in test or study mode, decide how many questions, 50, 75 or 100, etc., You can concentrate on one area or all med/surg, physch, basic care, and more.
Some of the questions are easy and some are not. It is a great learning tool because of its rationale and covering alot of area.
Recommend it highly as a study tool.

The questions are much easier than other NCLEX review guides, often there is only one obvious answer rather than the true NCLEX type where all 4 answers are correct but one is 'best'. It's OK for a general overview just using a computer and not a book. I find the NCLEX review books to be much better.
It won't run on 64 bit Vista May 27, 2009

I will need to take this CD-ROM to school or the library to use it. The package clearly states it will run on Windows Vista, but only 32 bit versions in reality. A huge let-down and some false advertising if you ask me.
