A Manual of Laboratory and Diagnostic Tests November 18, 2009 C. Gary Over the years, I have purchased 5 different lab reference manuals. This is the most comprehensive and easily understood lab reference manual I have ever owned.
Great reference October 4, 2009 Cindy (Ridgewood, NJ United States) I love this book. It provides all the information you need in a very readable format. I've been a medical writer for over 20 years, and this is the book I always turn to when I need to know more about a particular laboratory test. Every time it is updated, I buy the new version.

Best Lab Values Interpretation book September 4, 2009 Victoria Brady This well-written manual tells how and why labs are drawn, what the numbers mean, and gives reasons for abnormal values. It includes relationships among different tests and test results. Fabulous! I think this book is indispensable for patients and caretakers, as well as home care nurses who want to know what all those numbers mean, and how to interpret changes.
A Manual of Laboratory and Diagnostic Tests August 8, 2009 Julia B. Wilmot (Colorado Springs, CO) I was introduced to this book, a few editions back, during my Nurse Practitioner course work. It is the single, best, laboratory resource book I have ever used. It guides me daily in my clinical practice. I give it highest marks and recommend it to anyone in clinical practice.
