Library book October 23, 2009 M. escutia (California) The book looks okay but it was a library book. It had stamps when the book was checked out it still had the pocket for the slips. That would have not matered to me, but they should have let use know it was a library book.
Spanish-English/English-Spanish Medical Dictionary August 11, 2009 Salvador Borrego (Midwest City, OK) The dictionary is very helpful. I assist as a translator for medical doctors who travel to Peru to assist individuals in need of medical assistance.
Great for the professional! April 26, 2009 L. Durazo (Los Angeles, CA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is a very helpful dictionary especially for the professional who depends on accuracy in translating or interpreting from one language to
another.
A great resource for healthcare in Central America December 21, 2008 Jennifer (Seattle, WA, USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
We used this book on a medical trip to Guatemala, and it was great. Easy to access what we needed and very complete. It is a trifle pricey, but we bought another copy to leave with the group in Guatemala.
Must have for interpreters October 25, 2008 E. Schick (Hawaii) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Medical interpreters should always have a dictionary handy when they show up at a job. This one's great, it fits in a briefcase. It's also a good reference book for clinics (rather than hospitals).
It doesn't have enough items involving surgery but it's great for interpreting at appointments. I've used this edition as well as the previous one for years
