Product Description This attractive, newly designed set of Barrons Anatomy Flash Cards makes an ideal study aid for med school students, nursing students, and health care trainees who are preparing for tests. Each card pictures a human body part labeled with its medical name, location in the body, and function. A total of 265 4" x 6" cards show muscles, bones, and organs, and are color coded according to their general function in the human body. An important new feature in this second edition is a related Internet resource that contains electronic color images of each flash card. Students can now connect to Barrons special anatomy Web site and enter a unique code allowing them access to the interactive Web site. Once logged on, students can use the sites interactive technology to test themselves on every detail contained on the cards, and even create playlists of particular systems or areas where they require further study. The cards come boxed with a full-color, anatomically accurate poster that shows the human body and its major parts, as well as a toggle so cards can be pulled out and studied on-the-go. The poster unfolds to size 11 3/4" x 16 1/2".

Good Teaching Tool October 24, 2009 Margret A. Williams (Sparks, Nevada United States) I teach Medical Billing & Coding, and part of it is Anatomy. These cards really help my student recognize the different body parts and what they do. They are wonderful.
It's Worth The Money Folks! October 22, 2009 Pascale Pierre (Phoenix, Arizona USA)
When I received the flashcards I was suprised at how professionally made they were. They are really helpful, the cards are sturdy, glossy and colorful. A chart is also included in the box. My only problem is that they put too much info on one card and there is no integumentary system included. Other than that it is a good investment, really.
Baron's Flash Cards October 11, 2009 Kimberly A. Molinary Every flash card was present and shipped without any damage. Shippping didn't take long either. Would order again. Thanks, Kim Molinary
helpful and vivid-looking card, but... October 3, 2009 Han N. Huynh (Houston,TX USA) These cards are so helpful for those who want to study while they are not home or in school. We can carry them easily because they are so light and convenient while traveling. It`s good for people who study A&P class. When you do not have enough time to study or you find your book is so heavier to bring with you. These cards are your solution. They do not give you enough information, but they still give you a summary of description and nice images of each system. However, they do not have the integumentary system.
the delivery of this item was much longer than it said in the estimated delivery. this item was supposed to be delivered in few days but i received it after 2 and a half weeks since i ordered.
Cards not so useful, online cards way better. September 30, 2009 A. Swartz (USA) What I have discovered is that I really hate using the cards themselves. They don't help me at all for the fact that I have to flip it over to tell me what something is. I suppose it's something in the way my brain works but that just frustrates me. The online cards that you get the code to access with these are wonderful though. They display a card with just the numbers and lines pointing to stuff and then allow you to simply hover your mouse over a number to reveal the name of the part. That just works better for me so I can try to drill myself without the names or quickly hover over a part to remind myself. It's just nicer that way. Not turning the cards over is not me being lazy but I feel it has to do more with my learning style that I can just see what the name is when I have the part on the screen. I have yet to learn if you can get the online card code by itself from the website because that would be kinda nice.
