I am Nellie Sabin, co-author of this book, and I wanted to add some essential points that are missing from the product descriptions!

* Please know that this book has a spiral binding - it lies flat so you can leave it open and refer to it easily as you learn the exercises.

* In addition to detailed exercise instructions, the text gives you step-by-step, day-by-day guidelines for a total of 12 weeks. Every day, Coach Sean not only tells you exactly what exercises to do, but also gives you tips on improving your eating habits, managing stress, keeping your body healthy, reflecting on your "highs and lows," and staying connected to your deepest motivation for making this effort to change. All you have to do is follow his instructions each day and you WILL become more fit!

* As you go through the program, you learn a total of 12 complete 4-3-2-1 fitness regimens. Each routine has 4 minutes of H.E.A.T. (High Energy Aerobics Training), 3 minutes of Resistance Exercises, 2 minutes of Core Strengthening Exercises, and 1 minute of Stretching and Deep Breathing to finish up. In just 10 minutes, you get it all done!

* The exercises for Level I use bodyweight. For Level II, you'll use minimal equipment, such as a jumprope, resistance band, and stability ball. For Level III, you have the option of using dumbbells, a medicine ball, and barbells.

* Last but certainly not least, there are flip cards in the back of the book that allow you to mix and match different exercises from different regimens to create your own unique routines. The flip pages are divided in 4, making it possible for you to recombine the components of each fitness regimen any way you like. This is a great way to avoid boredom, to work around temporary injuries, and to adjust your routines to match your increasing abilities as you go along. No other exercise book has anything like this!

At the beginning of the program, you evaluate your current state of strength and fitness. At end of each 4 week period, you have an opportunity to re-evaluate your fitness and see how far you've come. Most people experience improvements not only in their strength, flexibility, endurance, and percentage of body fat, but also in other fitness markers, such as their blood pressure and cholesterol levels, as well as improvements in their mood, energy level, and zest for life.
