Quick and easy read September 14, 2008 JHC I bought this when I was a neurology resident before going on my EMG rotation. This was a very helpful book to have when going into that rotation. It does not go into details nor does it mention repetitive nerve stimulation or single fiber or El Escorial criteria. But the book offers excellent basics. I highly recommend it to newbies to EMG!

It simplify the topics. A MUST for neurology/PMNR residents.
A must for the resident/beginner November 4, 2006 Faisal Siddiqui (Syracuse, NY) Excellent book with the absolute basics outlined in an easy to read and understand format. There are other books (Shapiro, Dimitru..etc.) but for residents this is a good quick reading manual.
A basic EMG book August 30, 2006 A. Romero I just read this book. In few words this is a basic EMG book with a good summary of the most common cases that you see in the daily practice. T think that the author coud have covered the different topics with little more details. If you want to have a small book for a quick reference here you have an option.
