Reach Your Full Potential March 19, 2010 M. Green (MT) It's all in your head! The magic of thinking big proves it. Have you ever felt down because you didn't think you could do something as well as another person? Are there things in your life or career you consider impossible? Do you admire someone who seems to get everything they want in life? Is advancement in your current employment situation like climbing a mountain? Are you tired of being a follower and want to lead others? Is your current life situation where you want it to be? If you answered yes to any of those questions then this book is your resource to get to the next stage of life. David Schwartz's charismatic style is both invigorating and addicting. Before you've finished the last page you'll find yourself evaluating everything you do. In fact more than likely you'll have at least a short-term mental plan to improve at least one aspect of your life. For example, you might decide to use less Facebook and use that time to develop relationships with those around you. Or if you just like great quotes this book is chock full of advice like the following:
* "To do anything you first must believe in it."
* "Success minded people tend to monopolize the listening, while the small minded people tend to monopolize the talking."
* "Action cures fear."
* "The only way you're going to get success is through change."
* "All confidence is acquired and developed."
* "Listening is more than keeping your mouth shut."
These quotes are only a sample of the many within the book. Schwartz provides advice for those who currently feel successful and those who don't. For example, he says, "There are as many best ways as there are creative minds." There are examples of real people to illustrate ideas. Your first time through will leave you shell-shocked as you realize so many secrets to success. The greatest thing you'll realize is no mater how satisfied you are in life there is room for improvement. In application of the things I have learned from this book, I challenge you to make a list of reasons to read it. If you do, I promise you will be reading it before the day is over.
Worth the time March 19, 2010 D Von (USA) I bought this used on Amazon from Goodwill for a few dollars (used books here are a great value)! Very pleased with the book. Not one of my all time favorites but I got alot out of it and it will be staying on my bookshelf. Recommended.
Good mindset March 5, 2010 Charles D. Rajala 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Great book on the power of thinking. Only one thing seperates the successful from the unsuccessful and that is their thinking. Get your thinking right first if you want a chance to change your life.

Thinking Big book February 18, 2010 Christine M. Strittmatter 0 out of 4 found this review helpful
The book was in good condition. The problem was that the print was smaller and there were less pages in the book dur to smaller print. I did not like that. I already own the book (pictured to the right) and when this version arrived, I did not care for it. I ordered this copy for my son, and I did not really want the print to be smaller.
