Great find December 20, 2008 moshegan (Brigham City, UT) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
It is so great to find a book that honors people like Jane Goodall, who inspires us to look beyond ourselves and use our gifts and talents to make this world a better place. To show us with her example, how important it is to care for those who have no voice of their own. Truly an enlightened individual.
Beautiful narration by Jane Goodall August 28, 2008 Nicole V. Cook (Northeastern Pennsylvania) This book, intended for a younger audience, provides great insight into the experiences of Jane Goodall while studying chimpanzees in the wild in Africa. Dr. Goodall is a beautiful writer and the stories about her life at Gombe are riveting. Thoroughly enjoyed this book.
Excellent book. February 24, 2008 Shelly Regan (Michigan) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The book was purchased for a project learning about Jane Goodall. Unfortunately for me, I didn't look closely enough before buying the book to realize it was written for young readers. Even though it wasn't appropriate for my college level project, I read through it anyway and found it to be an excellent book.
