the 'solutions' are not always the right solutions!

This book is helpful, but has solutions to only 50% of the problems - all the odd ones. Among those too, a few are solved rather awkwardly and hard to follow. Some problems don't have a detailed explanation so it's hard to see how the book got the answer. It's a good book for crisis situations though.

Workbook proved very helpful in working through problems. Solutions laid out for odd numbers exercises.
This complements Devore's textbook. The Devore text is challenging and at times assumes reader has a strong grip on stats. Solutions found in this workbook help clarify the appropriate methodologies and are consistent with the text. The solutions are clear and concise.
Anyone who bought the text would do well to buy this workbook... especially if you are challenged by statistics.
