It's a cool looking book! It's looks exciting!
Comes complete with a CD Tutorial...........BUT
It's not for the beginner with zero photoshop experience.
This is not the first book of learning. This
book has been very frustrating for me, because
I need a basic tutorial. Even though I have
started with Photoshop CS4, I am in the dark.
I have found someone to tutor me with the use
of the basic tools.
I am sure this book will help me in the future....
BUT PLEASE DO NOT BUY THIS ONE IF YOU ARE A NOVICE,
such as I am. I'm learning though.
hope this helps you from making a $45 mistake!

I am a novice Photoshop user but I think this book is very informational. I have two monitors on my computer so I can read the lessons (or watch the videos) on the CD provided files on one monitor and use Photoshop on the other. The lessons are well thought out and easy to follow along with little tid bits along the way in the form of keyboard shortcuts. I think this book will give anyone a good start to learning Photoshop.

The product is excellent simple and clear. The videos make it a one on one experience and reviewing a topic or lesson as often as needed is easy. I like Photoshop CS4 Digital Classroom, because it is a Complete Training Package. I recommend it to everyone wanting to learn PS CS4 the easy way.

A great introductory book and an easy to read one. The video tutorials are excellent. For the most part, if you go through these video tutorials, you don't have to read the book. There are a few cases where the book provided more details, or the steps in the book differ from what's there in the video. Overall, I recommend this one if you are starting out on cs4 and need something basic. On the other hand, if you are looking for some advanced techniques, you need to look elsewhere.

Excellent book for learning how to use the basics of Photoshop CS4. Step by step processes which help to keep the overwhelming new experience manageable. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to learn to use the program.
