Virus on CD - Can't Access Files November 20, 2009 Brian in San Antonio (San Antonio, TX) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
When I went to access the CD to copy off the e-book and example files, McAfee flagged the CD as having a virus (I don't remember which one) and blocked access to the file. I noticed one other recent comment about the same issue so I suspect multiple copies of the book have the problem. I have contacted the publisher to see if I can get access to the files another way. If not, I will contact Amazon about returning the book.
Used a previous version of the book and learned several great time saving tips. As a result, getting the bad CD was a bummer.
Watch out for a Trojan on the CD! November 13, 2009 Kelsey 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
I got into Chapter 3 of this book before I put in the CD. As far as I got, the book was great! Everything was explained very well, and I'm sure the rest of the book is also good. However, when I put the CD in, my antivirus popped up saying that there was a Trojan on the CD and wouldn't let me use it. I then put it in my laptop which did not catch it until I ran a scan. It wouldn't let me fix it either. So I am going to try to return this book just for that reason. Nobody else has mentioned this problem, so maybe it just happened to me.
Excel 2007 formulas is a great book! July 8, 2009 Steve (Southern California) This book is great. So many formulas and the cd is very useful with all the Excel spreadsheets from the book. I would recomend it.

Not for newbies. May 27, 2008 L. Henderson 3 out of 17 found this review helpful
Althought the author is pretty well versed in the use of Excel, it is not much help to those just starting to use the progeam. Written pretty much the same way most Microsoft "help" books are written. It assumes you have quite a bit experience with macros and other such "helpers".
