The Ultimate Smoothie Book September 25, 2009 Julia K. Fisher This is way more than smoothie recipes. It delivers so much important information
on what foods are good for you and what foods are beneficial to specific parts of the body.
Many, many different smoothie recipes re: energy, sleep, immune booster, etc. Great book!
got some great ideas! August 24, 2009 Don Matthews I got this book because I just purchased a new Vita Mix blender and have been looking for ways to use it. This was beneficial to me in that it gave me a lot of ideas on how to change things I have already been making. This book is really beyond smoothies, with ideas for desserts and more. Some are more healthy than others. Lots of options for people with various tastes and way more than the standard "tropical drink" options. It was very helpful to me.
For the healthy eater. February 10, 2009 Richie (Los Angeles, CA) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
Some interesting recipes in there. Best suited for someone who is health conscious and watching watch they eat.
To be honest you can't beat the standard recipe of apple juice, pineapple sherbet, ice and whatever fresh fruit you fancy (I go with pineapple, strawberry and banana).
Not so smooth book! (but great if you like no photos) August 6, 2008 Valentina (Sunny California) 2 out of 15 found this review helpful
I bought this, thinking that wonderful photos would entice me. The pages filled with recipe after recipe and no way of knowing what is what left much to be desired! Personally, looking at page AFTER page of words gets old fast, and everything looks the same versus being differentiated with photos.
This book is for those that DO NOT CARE for photos of what they are making-then I guess for them, this book would be the bees knees.
I on the other hand, prefer buy recipe books WITH PICTURES, since I like to see BEFOREHAND what something is going to end up looking like!!!
I'm giving a HONEST opinion, unlike some people reviewing on here that just give EVERYTHING 5 stars! Some people take this whole reviewing thing A BIT TOO SERIOUSLY! Sorry I will NOT be as SHALLOW as the two other people that opted to comment on my review!!!
...REMEMBER...They are called O-P-I-N-I-O-N-S because we are all entitled to have them!!!!
Like I said, I DIDN'T like it, but YOU SHOULD BUY IT!

This is a very good recipe book for smoothies. You can go simple or elaborate. I would definitely recommend this book.
