| Customer Reviews: Amazing. The Bible of anatomy. October 3, 2009 Nuke Quazar What else is there to say? This is the Bible, the Encyclopedia Brittanica, the OED of anatomy. And compared to many anatomy textbooks, the price is a bargain!
A master classic. September 30, 2009 Merlin T. Curry (Portland, OR) Amazing text, there is no better anatomy book available. Comprehensive. A little disappointed with Amazon.com because it had obviously been dropped on a corner, but damage was minor. There is no college class for which you need this book (that I know of), get it only if you want the most detailed anatomy text with the most current science.
Always the Best September 2, 2009 William Hoffknecht (Fernley, NV) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Gray's is pretty much the standard in study of human anatomy and this is just another edition of the same book that has been in print for 150 years. Of course this current version is up to date complete with some of the best illustrations that any anatomy book could offer you. Really there is not too much more to say on this, but I think every household should have a copy of at least one of the editions of this book on their bookshelf.
The Current Edition of the Classic Text January 9, 2009 M. Denisovitch 16 out of 16 found this review helpful
From its aesthetics to the depth of description of anatomy, this book is the cream of the crop. It is no wonder why this text has been the standard for the past one-hundred and fifty years since Gray and Carter penned and illustrated the original. This edition has the most updated and accurate depictions of present day knowledge on subjects from cytology to the most complex anatomical structures. As brilliant as it is beautiful.
