Bruce G. Collier (USA-Florida)
Star Wars: A Pop-Up Guide to the Galaxy

5 out of 5 stars Star Wars Book   November 9, 2009
Computer Whiz (KANSAS CITY, MO USA)
For my grandson's 6th birthday, I bought the Star Wars: A Pop-Up Guide to the Galaxy. He knows the names of all the Star War figures and can play for hours interacting with the various characters. He has several different colored light savers. When I saw this book was a pop-up with lighted savers, I couldn't resist. When my grandson opened this present, he screamed with delight, and immediately began looking through the book. When he saw the light savers light up, he was so thrilled! He ignored his other presents, so enthralling was this book! He kept saying, "I love it, Grandma . . .I just love it! If you have a Star Wars fan, this book is a must have!!

4 out of 5 stars Great designs, but delicate.   October 9, 2009
Douglas E. Cornelius (Boston)
This is not your standard pop-up book. These are intricate designs that explode out of the page at you. Some of the coloring is off. Most of the pages are a bit delicate for the grabbing hands of the little ones who want to read it and turn the pages.

5 out of 5 stars Great Gift   September 18, 2009
T. R. (Oklahoma City)
This is a very well done book. We purchased it as a gift and I think the recipient will really enjoy it. He is part of the first Star Wars generation. The pop-ups are amazing!

5 out of 5 stars Fantastic gift for the fan who has it all!   September 15, 2009
E. Haynes (Charleston, WV)
We bought this for my 9 year old who saw it at a bookstore (for a much higher price) and couldn't put it down. He got several Star Wars toys at his birthday party but this was the biggest hit. After everything was opened he sat in a chair reading this book and passing it around to everyone at his party. We have two other pop up books - Dinosaur and Shark that are great too. The pop ups are intricate and amazing, and the text is interesting enough to make a 9 year old want to sit and read. Great gift if you don't know what toys a child (or grownup) has, or if you are one of those who like the "educational" gifts.
