1 out of 5 stars Fraught with Errors   November 19, 2009
George Allen (San Luis Obispo, CA)
The authors of this egregious piece of fiction would themselves score no higher than a combined total of 1200 on the GRE!!! Save your money.

2 out of 5 stars Great practice but many, many errors.   November 16, 2009
Mary (Austin, TX)
This book is quite useful in theory because it has so many practice items. However, the book is filled with errors. I'm surprised that a company with this much experience could put out such an error-ridden product. I usually love Princeton Review materials, but I have to stop using this with my students until they put out a corrected printing.

1 out of 5 stars Don't buy this book   October 23, 2009
Tracy Casanova (Novi, MI USA)
Like others have said, there are many errors in this book. Even though the Princeton Review gives a correction sheet for the errors, there are still many that they have missed. There are also errors on the correction sheet itself. It is nice that each question has an explanation but, they are not very thorough. It seems obvious that this book was very rushed and not made with any attention to detail. While some answer explanations have lengthy answers, others are short-winded and give you nothing to work with and leave you with the feeling that they only gave you an "explanation" because they had to fill the space. Don't attempt to contact the Princeton Review either. They will not return your calls or e-mails. They have horrible customer service.

1 out of 5 stars Absolutely awful   October 16, 2009

This book is an absolute embarrassment. There were so many errors, particularly in the math section, I gave up after going through only a few sections of it. There is an errata, but it's not worth your time or money to have to look online to find the correct answer from a list of literally hundreds of errors made in the book. The irony aside, this book could seriously hurt people who are particularly weak in either the quantitative or verbal portion of the GRE, believing everything printed to be correct. Avoid this book like the plague.

1 out of 5 stars disgrace   October 4, 2009

After spending the last 6 hours working through this shameful book, I decided to see if others shared the same frustration. I was not surprised to see that everyone is trashing this prep aid. Does Princeton Review have no shame? This is absolutely unprofessional and borderline unethical. Of course they didn't break any laws by putting out such a poor product, but my goodness, anyone with a conscience would have spent more time editing their work.

I am very disappointed. I wasted money and a very important day of studying. If you like to waste time and money, you found the perfect book to help you reach those goals. If you want to help yourself do poorer on the GRE, you do not have to look any further. If you want to underachieve and go to a school you are over qualified for, then put this book in your cart. Good luck!
