A very good book for residents March 17, 2009 DCOM in Madrid (Spain) This book has almost everything you need for your Radiology residence, particularly the first years. It's easy to read and has good images and schemes. I think the introductory chapters and those about arthritis are particularly good. This textbook covers aspects of conventional radiology as well as MRI, although the latter could be improved, I believe. In that sense, you may want to complete your MK library with Kaplan's MK MRI and then you'll have everything a general radiologist could need and should know about musculoskeletal diagnostic imaging.
That's a great book to be read over the residency. It does not substitute the classical ones but adds a lot (updated e comprehensive).
Really a good option September 6, 2007 Cesar Medina (Guadalajara, JAL MÉXICO) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I am radiology resident and I bought this book as review alternative to the big textbooks, I was really surprised it, it is a very complete book.

regarding first review January 31, 2006 AP in USA 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
The first review with one star refers to the FIRST edition of this series which was a different author. The second edition here HAS been redone just as the writer correctly suggested.
