Product Description
Addison-Wesley is proud to celebrate the Tenth Edition of Elementary Statistics. This text is highly regarded because of its engaging and understandable introduction to statistics. The author's commitment to providing student-friendly guidance through the material and giving students opportunities to apply their newly learned skills in a real-world context has made Elementary Statistics the #1 best-seller in the market. Students learning from Elementary Statistics should have completed an elementary algebra course. Although formulas and formal procedures can be found throughout the text, the emphasis is on development of statistical literacy and critical thinking.

Fast shipping October 17, 2009 Emma M. Fitch (mass) Thanks for shipping this book so fast, since I really needed it for school. It arrived in good condition, except one of the multimedia DVDs is missing.
statistics September 19, 2009 Sandra Young (usa) The book came in perfect conditionbut I was disappointed that it was a binder with the pages and not the textbook. Perhaps I missed that info? But I don't think so. It came quickly and was correct -just not a textbook.
I hate stats but whatevs i got what i needed to learn it September 8, 2009 M. Landeros (Berkeley, CA USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Title says it all. Not a fun class but this book made it work for me with its simple step-by-step explanations. If need be told, I didn't need to go to lecture because of how reliable this book was. (But I did go anyway of course.. ahem..) Its sample problems all seemed to have little morals written into them from those that ask you to calculate the correlation between model weight and height to those that ask you to assess the claim that heavy marijuana use is detrimental to memorization skills.
Excellent shape August 24, 2009 Pam (Elysburg, PA USA) This book was in excellent shape and exactly as described. Would absolutely buy from this seller again. Thanks!
