The book was in excellent condition, and was shipped accordingly. I will definately order from Amazon.com again.
Excellent Resource for Teaching... June 26, 2009 C. Win (Salt Lake, UT USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is an excellent resource for teachers or those, like myself, who are training to be teachers. The chapters are concise and clear in explanation and have the added bonus of a little comic relief in the form of famous syndicated cartoons in nearly each chapter. Also, this textbook provides answers to some end of chapter problems as well as small biographical entries on famous mathematicians who helped mold math as we know it. It gives clear instruction, and is challenging without being overwhelming. An excellent textbook!
Thanks March 13, 2009 Brandon R. Wallace (Houston, Tx) 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
Not exactly sure what you want me to say! However, besides some major highlighting in chapter one I think that the book is in great condition. Considering that college books are very expensive and I have cut into half of my cost with this purchase I would really like to thank this seller.
Required, but poor quality February 13, 2009 A. Wagner (san francisco) 0 out of 3 found this review helpful
This text may have been required by the course I took, but it is a low quality test written in the obscure, academic way that gives textbooks bad name. It takes an interesting subject and makes it boring.
Very Good September 5, 2008 Michelle M. Walker 0 out of 3 found this review helpful
I was very happy with the purchase I made with Amazon. The book was in excellent condition and the time that it took to get the book was a little long but not unbearable.
