Product Description Fashion isn't everything. It's the only thing.
Halloween comes to Winston Prep and the newly named teen fashion label POSEUR introduces this season's must-have accessory: a red-hot handbag called the Trick-or-Treater. But whose design is sweetest? Janie, Petra, Melissa, and Charlotte all insist: Mine. You see the problem?
Good thing, then, for the sweetness of revenge. Time to dust off that costume and put your best mask forward. 'Tis the season for candy, conflict, and couture.
The Good, the Fab, and the Ugly is the second juicy novel in the stylish and hilarious new series from the publisher of the national bestselling Gossip Girl, The Clique, The It Girl, and The A-List. Includes 5 do-it-yourself patterns by real-life fashion label Compai and fashion sketches throughout by the author!

A FABULOUS read...
Light, but detailed.
Detailed, but entertaining.
Entertaining, but with substance.
I think that I really loved EVERYTHING about Poseur.
(+ I hear Poseur: Petty in Pink's gonna be the best yet =))
Luv'd it! February 28, 2009 BookWorm/CookWorm 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I really enjoyed this book, I thought the second one was better than the first. I don't really thing this can be classified with Gossip Girl or The Clique because I though it was very different but it was still good. You wanted to keep reading it, so for me that was a plus.
LOVE THIS SERIES! November 19, 2008 Becca B 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Love this book - it is full of fashion, drama and is funny too! And as someone who likes an interesting plot and good writing mixed with humor, I found it just perfect. Can't wait for the third book in the series "Petty in Pink"!!!
The Story Siren Reviews: November 9, 2008 The Story Siren (Indiana) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I don't know why I love this series but I do. I'm not particularly interested in fashion, okay honestly I'm not interested in it at all. And the whole premise of this book is a fashion designing foursome. Christian Louboutin, Narcisco Rodriguez, Chopard... these words, they mean nothing to me. And yet, I can't stop turning the pages. I even stashed this book in my purse in case I had a wait at the polls... which I didn't! DANG IT!
I don't particularly love any of the characters. But I still crave their story! How can Janie not know that Evan likes her!? Are Charlotte and Jake ever going to get back together!? And Petra has a midnight rendevous! This book was rolling in the boy drama. And if you must have drama at least make it boy drama!
It's a fun and of course fabulous read! I can't wait until the next title in the series Petty in Pink!
It is Good, It is Fab but it is certainly not Ugly October 25, 2008 Gossip Guy 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The Good The Fab and The Ugly is the second installment of Poseur. This time Halloween comes to Winston Prep. and Poseur is trying to attract the attention of many by creating a couture bag called The Trick or Treater. As usual Janie, Charlotte, Melissa and Petra are arguing who's design should be chosen. All of their designs are exquisitely drawn by Ms. Maude herself. The DIY portion of the book is brilliant (like the Gypsy belt I'm planning to create for my friend).
Poseur is a must read to all people (not just girls). It is not just about fashion. It shows relationship problems, peer pressures etc. I love this series and I really hope this series will catch on. Well done Ms. Maude!:D
