Editorial Reviews:
Product Description Welcome to Busytown where everyone is on their way to work. The Busytown grocers stock and sell fresh food; the bankers keep the money safe; the doctors and nurses make sure everyone is healthy; the postal workers collect and deliver letters; the sanitation workers collect trash and recyclables; the lumber workers chop trees to make furniture and houses; and the workers at the docks, railroads and airports help transport people and freight. But it takes even more careers and professions than that to keep this busy town running.

Passing it down October 19, 2009 J. Crouch (Roseburg, OR) I bought this book because my husband had the same one when he was a kid. It is so much fun to watch the kids find goldbug on every page. Absolutly love it and would recommend it to anyone.
Richard Scarry July 5, 2009 T-Bird (SW-AZ) This book - though excellent and instructional - is still not the "Busy Busy World" that entertained and educated myself and 3 children back in the '70s. Some memories just don't go away!
Hours of fun March 30, 2009 M. Meeds (Stillwater, MN) My 4-year-old son spends hours pouring over the pictures and stories in this book. Richard Scarry knows how to delight children in his funny drawings and silly stories.
Great Gift to help my granddaughter as she learns her alphabet March 14, 2009 Jackie S. Wolf (Texas) Richard Scary has been a family friend (through his books) to my children and now to my grandchildren. This book is helping my littlest granddaughter reinforce her reading skills, she is 7.
Good book for kids 2-6 February 27, 2009 Y. Keselman (Chicago, IL United States) Fairly typical of Richard Scarry's books, it is fun to browse for kids of ages 2-6. The book itself is very sturdy, and will definitely last long, even though it gets used pretty often.
