| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description This text provides comprehensive coverage of research methods and statistics in a readable and student-friendly format. A wide variety of methodologies including descriptive, experimental and quasi-experimental research, historical studies, qualitative methods, and single subject designs are covered. A complete range of research tools as well as descriptive and inferential statistics are also included, making this text the definitive resource for introductory research courses. Research in Education is divided into three parts: Part I, "Introduction to Educational Research," focuses on the purpose of research, hypotheses, ethics in research, developing a research problem, and writing proposals and reports; Part II, "Research Methods," is unique in that it integrates chapters on qualitative research methods, historical research and single-subject methods with the more typical chapters on experimental methods; and Part III, "Data Analysis," includes both descriptive and inferential statistics, as well as examples of analyses using a computer.

cd was missing June 27, 2009 Graduate student (USA) book was in good condition but was missing a cd that would link to a website for additional information
Research in Education January 27, 2009 Ciani (Philadelphia, PA) The book arrived in record time. I was very pleased with the condition of the book. There was one problem with book. The book contained a password to links on the web. This password had expired and I had a hard time obtaining a new one.
broken! January 7, 2009 Sarah E. Rosas I was so excited to find this expensive textbook for less on Amazon. When I received it, however, I realized why it was discounted: the binding is broken, and that fact was not advertised in the description that I read before purchasing the text. In fact, the seller advertised it as being in "good" condition.
Research in Education July 17, 2008 A. Selger (Levittown, PA) Book was delivered within 5 days of ordering. It was in good condition-said it was highlighted a bit, but actually helped out with the course that I took. Thanks!
Excellent! May 12, 2007 John Anthony (NEW YORK, NY USA) This is an excellent text if you're into this sort of thing. It seems like a rather well written text. I did learned a thing or two from it.
