Good book for basics October 22, 2009 Monisha Charania This is a good beginner's book as it provides the basics you need to introduce yourself to the subject. I needed it for a class but it can serve as a good reference guide as well.
Poorly written book September 14, 2009 J.A.M. (CA.) Book tries to cover too much.
Some issues are poorly defined.
Summaries at the end of each chapter are weak!
No problems at the end of each chapter to test your knowledge.
This might be an O.K. book for someone that already has a firm understanding of marketing.
Used this book for a graduate level class....Very painful learning experience.
Learning should be enjoyable!

Good Book for an overview July 15, 2009 Prerit K. Souda (Los angeles, CA/ Dallas, TX) An Excellent book. Covers a wide variety of topics in marketing although it does not go in depth of any of them. If you are looking for an overview of marketing(in totality) this book is fabulous. If you are looking for indepth knowledge of certain marketing concepts, this may not be the right book for you..
