Editorial Reviews:
Product Description This text uses the graphing utility to enhance the study of mathematics. Technology is used as a tool to solve problems, motivate concepts, and explore mathematical ideas. Sullivan's Series "Enhanced with Graphing Utilities" provides clear and focused coverage. Many of the problems are solved using both algebra and a graphing utility, and the text illustrates the advantages and benefits of each approach. Technology is used to solve problems when no algebraic solution is available and to help students visualize certain concepts. Topics such as curve fitting and data analysis and ClBL projects are incorporated as appropriate.

Customer Reviews: Algebra & Trig book November 2, 2009 G. F. Briggs (Seattle) While I did not have much choice since this was required for my class, I bought it online and it arrived very quickly. Excellent text.

I received the book in a timely manner and it was in the condition described.
Good but does not explain well. June 3, 2009 Jamie L. Ham (Denver) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I took algebra in high school and then took college algebra in college and needed this book. It was good with odd answers in back and life applications and all, but I noticed with some examples, steps would be skipped and thus leave the student (me) confused in trying to figure out how the answer was achieved. I would figure it out eventually with a lot more work then would have been needed had the example been fully done the first time. A good book for college and algebra trig students.
Couldn't have asked for it any better! September 20, 2005 Margaret C. Pollock (Wilmington, NC) 1 out of 20 found this review helpful
When I got my book I was shocked. I expected the book was going to be ragged but I couldn't even tell it was used! I thought it was new! I am definitely ordering my books from ya'll for now on!!!
