Where do I find ... ? November 2, 2009 Scott Young Just cracked through the first three chapters of this book. It's an excellent work. I am just an individual who is learning some basic accounting knowledge by myself. Anyone can tell me where do I get the answers to those even number questions. I didnt find anything on the website provided. Thanks.
Ship on time, but late email response October 25, 2009 K. Nguyen (USA) I ordered the book on Thurday with "express shipping", it was deliverded on Monday. However, ehen I asked about the tracking number, it took me 2-3 days to receive the seller's reply. The book was not shown the edition and I received a book printed in 2007. Fortunately, it was acceptable to my class.

For those who want to know the real stuff behind the financial numbers August 23, 2009 J Starz What this book is NOT: This book is not a detailed treatise on financial statements, ratios and how to create financial statements
What this book IS: This book tells you what is behind the numbers. And it does it really really well. It introduces the key ratios in the beginning and from then on, the chapters delve into various aspects of the key financial statements. It provides real life data using financial numbers of real companies. It deals with everything from what drives (operationally) the numbers and ratios; what kinds of capital a company can raise; valuation among other things.
I highly recommend this book for anyone looking to understand whats behind the numbers and how to effectively analyze issues within the company that impact the financial statements.
Finance made fun! March 9, 2009 R. Carboni (Boston, MA) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Higgins is definitely the most instructive and easy to follow Finance books I've read. I'm currently using Brealey-Myers-Allen, and Higgins, and definitely recommend the latter.
