Product Description This long-trusted text features an interdisciplinary, cross-cultural, and contextual perspective on development. Applications to psychology, health care, social work, education, and family dynamics make this a perfect book for classes with a mixed population of majors. Continuing the hallmark diversity coverage of the prior eight editions, Crandell et al once again do an incomparable job examining populations at risk and explaining how they experience development and why their experience is different. With more than 1200 new references, the 9th edition has been updated throughout to reflect the latest information available in human development.

| Customer Reviews: Not happy with how the book was packaged September 3, 2009 J. Tan The book arrived on time and I was very impressed. But when I opened the box and checked the book, I saw this big fold in the back of the book which left a crease. I was planning to resell the book after I used it and that crease is gonna lower down the value of my book. I am very very very disappointed. I wish I could return the book but then I need it to start with my readings so there really isn't anything I can do. Please be careful with your packaging next time. We did not pay that much $$$ for a BRAND NEW BOOK that has a LARGE CREASE on it.
