Very Cool September 16, 2009 L. Foster 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
this book is really well done. i think it is written very well, and the additional tools on the website make it that much easier to study and such.
great book!
Great book for a General Biology class August 2, 2009 THE DUDE (Minneapolis, MN USA) I needed this book for my General Biology class in college. I loved almost every thing about this book. There are a lot of great diagrams and pictures in this text book to help reinforce the text and to help people visualize things. The only problem I had with it was that every once and a while the authors made things hard to understand such as the Calvin Cycle, but I just reread the section and studied the pictures to gain a better understanding of the topic.
Perfect! June 4, 2009 H. A. Gonzales-dittenber 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
The book was in perfect condition, came in just a few days and is also a wonderful book! I will definitely be getting more of my textbooks from this company! The price can't be beat..I did not want a used book since I learn by highlighting what is important to me but I also couldn't afford to spend over $200 for a book.
Thanks!
Love it June 3, 2009 Jamie L. Ham (Denver) This textbook is very well written for a college student going into the health field. It has examples and explains well. There are many pictures to help and also at the back there is a chapter quiz and biological questions to help learning further. Online for this book there are videos that help to explain as well. I love this book and learn a lot from the text and the videos.
Seller indifference February 10, 2009 C. Peterson 0 out of 6 found this review helpful
I purchased the Biology book for my grandson for college. He found he did not need it. This book was brand new and unopened. We contacted Amazon and we were told we had to try to work it out with the seller. The only response from the seller was "I don't accept returns". This information needs to be on the sellers profile. Amazon has been very cooperative with me in resolving this issue. C Peterson, MN
