great for studying November 6, 2009 Vio (Colorado) I found this book to be excellent while studying during my 3rd year IM clerkship and 4th year IM subI. It was a quick, well organized, clinically focused reading that proved to be very valuable because I learned the essential points very fast and I did not waste my time going through endless pages of irrelevant material in the hopes of being able to extract the relevant information. I ended up doing very well on the shelf by combining this book and the MKSAP question book. I am sure I will continue to find this book very useful during internship.
good October 16, 2009 Alberto Wu Mo (VENEZUELA) Lo compre pero no lo he leido.. y creo q no tendre tiempo para leerlo

concise and readable review/ update book May 28, 2009 C. V. Atencio (New York, NY) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I had a prior edition of this book and was very satisfied with it. As a general review it is fast and detailed enough. I was taking the USMLE tests back then. Now I am doing my residency training, and I am in Psychiatry; but I still need an updated source to review about other problems that my patients may have. It is not as detailed and slow to read as other texts (Farreras-Rozman, Harrison) and still does the job.
The best source of legitimate medical information. April 28, 2009 Ed 2 out of 4 found this review helpful
This is a great book to have at home. Medically technical, it still manages to relate just enough to the non-doctor. So much more information that standard at-home medical guides.
