5 out of 5 stars great prep source   October 30, 2009
Devyn Lopez (Miami, FL)
previously was using an older edition, so bought the updated version. love, and swear by this book for step one prep.

5 out of 5 stars First Aid is the bible of step 1.   October 20, 2009
med student
First Aid is essential for Step 1 prep. I would recommend buying it at the start of your second year, so you can read the chapters along with your corresponding courses. Don't worry that you won't have the newest edition that comes out in January (I think) each year. They just try to make it a little better each time, but the basic information is still there and it will be worth it to have read through the major chapters already when you get closer to boards. It also has useful tips that will help you on your course exams, but it probably won't be enough for those exams.

5 out of 5 stars ANOTHER GREAT PURCHASE   October 3, 2009
Sagar M. Patel
The product was shipped in excellent condition just as described, and I received it in a timely manner.

4 out of 5 stars COMLEX Prep   September 22, 2009
Jennifer I. Ralston (West Chester, PA United States)
I used this book as a review for my COMLEX and it was great. You need to be sure to review OMT stuff. This is just review, not a make up for 2 years of med school slacking.

5 out of 5 stars Useful for studying for medical boards   September 7, 2009
N. Elliott
I got this for my daughter who told me that this reference was the best one that she heard about in studying for the medical boards. Her current interest is in using the book to study for the exams given at the end of the 2nd year of medical school. My daughter put the pages of the book in a looseleaf folder, thus allowing her to add further helpful material to the information already contained in the book.
