The best available, unfortunately November 2, 2009 Makkabee This is an abridged edition, and while still charming and beautifully illustrated, it's not the complete experience. Unfortunately the unabridged version is out of print and used copies are rare and extremely expensive, so it's likely the best you're going to do within a reasonable budget.
Great book, garbage product October 21, 2009 C. Garner I have the original print of this awesome book. This print is missing about 30 pages from the original. Not at all acceptable.
Love this book October 7, 2009 Betty (LI NY) This is a great book to read to your kids. I purchased it as a gift for a young child. But I also had this book when my kids were young . It was one of their favorites.
What People Do All Day September 4, 2009 Healthy Mama (California) Great Children's Book. And a great author, too. My son still loves this book and he is 8 years old.
Wonderful book for preschoolers August 16, 2009 AndreaSJ (Los Angeles, CA United States) My daughter loved this book when she was in preschool. She's a bit older and doesn't read from it these days, so I wanted to give her well-worn copy to her sibling, who is now himself in preschool. She refused to give up her copy, so I bought a new one for my son. Well - ever since he received the book, he's been reading and reading and reading it. Now his copy is getting well-worn! This is simply a wonderful book for children. It makes a great gift.
