Cuter than Most Bunting November 18, 2009 D. Johnson (Appalachia) This is one of those purchases that I felt like wasn't really worth the money but went through with it. I knew it was overpriced, but yet I went ahead and bought it anyway because of the way it LOOKS. Yes, I overspent simply because I thought this was adorable---and it is. Seeing it on my baby makes it even cuter. You can buy bunting at Walmart, Old Navy, or baby stores for A LOT less money. But they don't have the charm that this lumberjack getup has.
Overall, the quality seems to be good. It washed up well for me. I gave this four stars because of price, but I don't regret this purchase at all.
Cute and cuddly but WAY overpriced! October 21, 2009 Looking for bargains 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I don't take the time to do reviews much, but need to in this case. This item is cute and cuddly, but WAY overpriced. The fleece fabric (fleece is getting more expensive because of oil prices, but still a cheap fabric) is very thin. I expected it to be much thicker, but the fabric is very thin and while it may be warm, certainly wouldn't do much in terms of protecting from the elements. Cute product, but wait till its on sale..
My son spent the first 6 months of his life in this! August 17, 2009 Amber Wright (Bailey,Colorado) I love this suit!Bought it for him when he was 4 months and got the 6 month size. He is now too tall for it but it still works without the hand/foot flaps closed(he is 31" tall and 24 lb.s) I'm buying a bigger size right now for the coming winter. I'ts very warm and SO comfortable...well worth the price!
1st snow suit May 23, 2009 altr (Central NY) Loved this for winter! It covered his hands and feet so we didn't have to worry about boots for a baby who could not walk! Nor did we have to worry about mittens that he would have certainly taken off. was roomy and comfy and not bulky. Most importantly it was very warm. Even in our central NY freezing winters!
Love this snow suit! May 7, 2009 Navymommy (Virginia Beach, VA) My daughter was 10 months old when I bought this. I bought an 18 month size. It was very big on her, but she was barely walking at the time so it didn't matter. I walk my dog twice a day in Virginia Beach. It doesn't get too cold, but cold enough. My daughter goes in the stroller with me on our dog walks. This was the easiest to get her in. She wore this, a hat, gloves, and her regular clothes underneath. She was plenty warm. I didn't use it in her car seat though... too warm! I washed and dried it once a week and I never noticed any wear or shrinking. The hands and feet flip over to seal off the suit. You can flip the flaps so the hands and feet are exposed. When she did want to walk I just flipped the flaps on her feet and rolled up the legs. She didn't have any problem walking around in it. I'm hoping that she will still fit into it in the fall!!! Oh and the leopard was so stinking cute!!!
