Excellent finish quality; delicate build quality November 11, 2009

I got the Red cover after reading reviews and this is a cover with a fantastic finish with the colored portion exhibiting a deep colored metal lustre. The cover is in 2 pieces; the color portion first snaps on the sides, while the black portion snaps on top to bottom on top of the colored plate. The covers snap on pretty tightly requiring some force to slip them over the edges, but also seeming to need some caution to not break them off. I did not use the screen protector as I already had a full body protector installed (and I put this cover on top of it so the extra tightness might be because of this).
This cover is definitely not designed for frequent removal and snap on if that is what you are planning.
My main reason for buying this was to primarily provide some kind of friction so that the phone does not slip out of my shirt pocket easily. I almost lost my iphone when it fell off my shirt pocket without me noticing it (i bent down to pick something from a mattress in my son's daycare, which quietly cushioned my iphone's fall). This cover provides just the right friction to prevent it from sliding on its own, but easy to grab out with hand. Worth the money I paid compared to other cheap (looking) covers I have seen on other phones.

I received this case cover about a week ago, and I have already been deeply disappointed by its performance. It holds itself in place with the black plastic clip you see pictured in the promo pic (the black Pepsi style swirl you see on the back). The clip is obviously meant to be put in place only once and never removed. It is very flimsy, and breaks easily.
This seems like a critical design defect in any product intended to protect your iPhone. Although I love the color and look of the cover, it is too easily broken, and already is falling apart. I expect I will have to order a replacement in a day or two.

I really like the look and feel of this cover on my iPhone. The only problem I had was that when I would place it on my iPhone it would push my screen protector up from the sides and cause air bubbles. It was really frustrating. But I really love the cover <3 I get a bit scared sometimes removing it. It feels like it will break and probably will if you put enough force on it (I actually read a review in which the buyer broke the black piece on both products he purchased, scary!). It really becomes difficult to remove once it's on. I guess it's all up to the buyer if they're willing to take the risk for good looks, lol.

I recently purchased a couple of outfits (cases) for my 3gs and this case is my hands down favorite. I agree with other reviewers the photos do not do it justice. Along with posting this review, I plan to purchase one if not two before leaving the site today. I purchased the red case and it is very nice. The case finish has a bit of a background sheen that makes it look very high end and the s-curve adds a modern styling. I have not experienced the breaking of the black snap on portion but I can see how that can happen given that it is a bit awkward to get the case on and off. I like the case so much I don't have much reason to take it off and my other case purchases pale in comparison. I have had many compliments on this case. I highly recommend purchasing this case. You won't regret it.

I love the look of this cover, but the problem I have with it, is the same as the OVER-PRICED, hard rubber cover I bought from ATT. The cover breaks at the weakest spot where the power connector is. This cover did last longer than the overpriced model I bought, when I bought my phone. Even with this little annoyance, I am still planning on buying few more covers. I love the look, I love the feel and for the price, you cannot beat it
