Great product March 9, 2010 Janet R. Dane (DFW, TX) This was so easy! I think it's wonderful that Blackberry provides this product. I had dropped my phone on a sidewalk, and it had a bad permanent scratch. I ordered the lens replacement, and although it was a little scary prying the old faceplate off, the new one went on with ease. Just be very careful when removing the old one, and when you punch out the adhesive backing that fits in place to install the new one. It is a very thin piece of adhesive that goes around the edge, and can tear easily. Of course it won't be seen, but an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. This product makes it look like you have a brand new phone. Just be sure to clean under it well also.
I suggest you buy the little screen protectors that temporarily protect your new screen. They don't cost much, and get grungy after a couple of months, so get several. All in all, I highly recommend this product!
Blackberry lens February 15, 2010 Logan C. Tharp Quick delivery. great seller. directions a little sketchy, so i messed up the double-sided tape and actually had to glue the lens on. still works fine and looks great.

I cracked the plastic screen cover on my Blackberry Curve 8310. I ordered up a replacement screen and totally screwed up the installation and had to order another one.
here is an install tip.
TAKE YOUR TIME.
All you need is a screwdriver in order to pop off the old screen cover, you will likely completly trash the old cover because it is well adhered.
to install the new one
1) There is a plastic protective film on the screen cover both front and back, remove the protective film on the back and put the screen cover aside.
2) This is a bit difficult to explain, there is a rubbery adhestive gasket that goes between the blackberry and the screen cover. Do NOT try this the other way by removing the white backing, trust me, this is what screwed me up the first time.
One side has a form fitting brown waxy cover and the other side has a white large non form fitting white wax paper. Take a very sharp knife (dont cut yourself) and use it to slightly lift up the brown wax paper along the edging. once you get a corner lifted you may haave to use the edge of the knife to hold the gasket to the white wax paper as you pull the brown wax paper off. Remove the brown wax backing ONLY off the edges, you want the large square backing that sits where the screen is to STAY ON.
3) Once that has been removed use the knife and pick out the brown circles, you will know what im taking about when you are at this point.
4) Place the screen cover on top of the exposed adhesive gasket, be careful to line it up correctly. once it is line up push it down to make sure the gasket adheres all the way around.
5) the white backing should STILL be on at this point, and it will be pre-cut where the screen is, pull this square out.
6) Remove the rest of the white backing, and presto, your gasket should be in place.
7) Using canned air or by blowing remove any dust that may be on the lcd screen, then line up the screen cover and gently put it in place, once it is line up push down to secure it together.
Then pull off the plastic protectant film on front of the screen. And you are done!
The first time i did this i really botched it up. It takes a little time and thought, if you follow these instructions you should be in good shape. It really is not that difficult, but if you are not careful you can totally mess it up.
And here is the instructions for the Iphone.
1) Order new $300.00 Iphone.
2) Wish you could have saved $295 and fixed it yourself.
hahaha
