Product Description With 11 millimeters of thick, dense padding in key areas, the Pearl Izumi Men's Attack Bike Shorts won't wage war on your package. A 9-inch inseam covers your thighs without bothering your knees, while the Attack Shorts' eight-panel, ergonomic design allows for smooth pedaling without fabric-bunching. Pearl Izumi included silver antimicrobial ions in these shorts' chamois lining to cut down on odor, while fusion technology bonds the padding in these shorts so there's less chafing while you're on the road.

Amazon.com Product Description A Pearl Izumi favorite, the ergonomically designed eight-panel Attack cycling short delivers comfort, durability, and a great fit. Constructed using Sensor-Transfer fabric to keep moisture at bay, the short fits perfectly, with a seamless 3D Race chamois and dual-density padding to relieve pressure on sensitive nerves and absorb shock. The anatomical eight-panel design, meanwhile, features antimicrobial ions that help eliminate bacteria while regulating your temperature, so you'll stay comfortable throughout your ride. And riders will love the flatlock seams--which provide a chafe-free fit--and the cozy Spandex leg grippers. Other details include reflective logos for added visibility, a 9-1/4-inch inseam, and a fabric mix of 86 percent nylon and 14 percent Spandex. | Men's Attack Short Sizing Information | | | Small | Medium | Large | X large | XX large | | Chest | 35-37 | 38-40 | 41-43 | 44-46 | 47-49 | | Waist | 29-31 | 32-34 | 35-37 | 38-41 | 42-45 | | Hip | 35-37 | 38-40 | 41-43 | 44-46 | 47-49 | | Inseam | 31.5 | 32 | 32.5 | 33 | 33.5 |
About Pearl Izumi More than 50 years ago in Tokyo, a father produced Japan's first bicycle racing apparel for his son, a promising racer. He named his soon-to-be-established company Pearl Izumi, derived from the gem "pearl" and an area of Japan known for its clear water ("Izumi"). Literally translated, the name means "fountain of pearls." Distributed in the U.S. since 1981, Pearl Izumi USA sponsored the U.S. national team in 1984 and several major trade teams during the mid-'80s, helping the company earn an almost cult-like following among cyclists. The Pearl Izumi USA line is dedicated to meeting the needs of the serious sport enthusiast, including not just cyclists but cross-country skiers, triathletes, duathletes, runners, and more.

sps004 October 17, 2009 Stephen P. Sung (LA, CA USA) It's one of the finest cycling pants for the price.I use it mainly for hardcore spinning indoor class. It has last on heavy usage for over two years. It does keep all the moisture out and feels comfortable to wear. It did took two week to get this product, always sold out.
Excellent product October 7, 2009 ABL Excellent product, very confortable. Only problem logo in the rear is peeling after one use.
Not Too Shabby For the Price September 20, 2009 M. Schexnayder what can i say? i needed a pair of bike shorts because i was tired of my bum hurting from all my constant bike riding. these come in handy if you're only doing a moderate amount of biking - i'm currently biking about an hour a day, and these do the job. my sore nether regions are now a thing of the past.
Great August 31, 2009 Mark from Brooklyn (Brooklyn , NY) I went on a week-long bike tour this summer and had these, along with a pair of EMS bike shorts. These were infinitely better than the EMS shorts. They were so comfortable every single day I was amazed. I know Pearl Izumi makes a touring short, and they are probably even better, but I was totally blown away by the quality of these.
Perfect!! August 3, 2009 Troy Rech (Roanoke, VA United States) Perfect fit right out of the bag. Wore them for two legs of RAGBRAI (120 miles) without any issues.
