Love my Bella Band November 21, 2009 KP (Germany) I love my BellaBand. Well into my second semester, I am still able to wear my old pants.
Great product! Extends the life of pre-pregnancy clothes November 15, 2009 Amanda Worthy (Mid Missouri) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this band when I was just a few weeks pregnant. Obviously I had no real need for the band yet, but I wanted to try it out. I began using the band on some of my already tight jeans when I was about 9 wks along. I still didn't really need it, but it felt great to have all my jeans suddenly turn into elastic waists! I wear a size 14-16 and I ordered the size 3. It was a perfect fit. My only complaint is that it does tend to bunch up. I mostly used it was the folded over method and I did have to frequently adjust it, but that never really bothered me. I bought the black band and it was great because it just looks like I had a black tank top on under my clothes.
Love it! Must have November 13, 2009 S. Wagner (Hamilton, NJ) This is a fantastic invention and I recommend this particular product to those mommies out there that don't want to spend the money on maternity jeans. It's very comfortable and really does keep your jeans up when unzipped and unbuttoned. I bought another product and was not happy with it at all - this really stretches and moves well with your expanding tummy.
Great for those who still fit in normal jeans, just can't zipper or button them.
LIke it October 19, 2009 Amesyth Ardendron This is helping me to continue wearing my pre-pregnancy jeans without having to button them. The only recommendation I have about it is that if you're like me & have wider hips than waist, & if you're choosing between two sizes, go for the larger size. I went for the smaller. While it fits me, my waist is still small enough that it wants to slide upward, if I move around a lot. My solution is to wear it low on my hips, folded in half, so that it's touching only my jeans & not my skin. I think that later, when I'm further into pregnancy, it will stay in place. I also think this will be helpful to wear just after delivery.
A must for maternity October 17, 2009 S. Powell (TX) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Around week 14, my regular pants starting getting too tight. This was a lifesaver. It allows you to keep your pants up, yet conceals the fact that they're not buttoned. I was nervous it would be noticeable but it hides it well and holds them up, without being uncomfortable.
Around week 25, I was in maternity pants but as maternity pants can droop (especially the jeans), this helped keep them up. Again, comfortable. I wore this until the end of my pregnancy, and it always looked like a white T-shirt underneath my maternity top.
Postpartum, this was also a lifesaver. For the first three months, I still had to wear my maternity pants unfortunately, but obviously the only way to keep them up was this band. Then when I began to fit back into my regular jeans but wasn't quite there, this helped me keep them closed until I could button them again.
This is a great product for all maternity stages and it's really a necessity. The only thing I would recommend, if this price seems high, is to check out other knock offs. For example, Target makes a band similar to this that is supposedly much less expensive though I have not tried.
