Weather station received in good condition exactly as depicted easily set up and functioning as intended.

5 out of 5 stars Weather Channel Indicator   November 14, 2009
L. Keating (Boston, MA)
Delivery of product was several days overdue. It was ordered for a b'day present. But once my husband received it, he was very happy. It was easy to set up and we both LOVE it. The little weather guy is adorable, i.e, puts on different clothes according to the forecast. It was a very good purchase for the money and going thru Amazon was great. Thanks. Linda and Kevin

1 out of 5 stars Lame, Oscar is either blind or dumb   November 2, 2009

Very bummed, nice product. But this is Phoenix, AZ and Oscar shows rain and his umbrella when there isn't a cloud in the sky and no chance of rain at all in the 10 day forecast, as a matter of fact, we are having above temp for early november and very very dry, even for Phoenix.

So, for the last 3 days Oscar had had his umbrella out and the clouds show rain, but there is not even one cloud and nothing coming in the 10 day forecast!!!

Disappointed in this product, or I have a faulty unit. Also it is lame that is shows the sun being out when it is nightime!!! Lame product!!

Update, it is now November 8th at 3am, there is not a cloud in the sky and not rain in the 10 day as usual, yet Oscar wears his stupid umbrella and it shows clouds with rain.....

Is Oscar just mocking me at this point.

Piece of junk!! I would like to decapitate Oscar about now!!!

4 out of 5 stars Great product, but no lighting.   October 27, 2009

This thing is incredibly accurate, so I do recommend it to anyone. The only reason why I gave it 4 stars is because it doesn't have a light, so it is almost impossible to read it when there is not much light.

3 out of 5 stars nice product - not 330' range   October 21, 2009

This is a wonderful, well designed and well made product. It's temperature and humidity readings, indoors and outdoors, are accurate. I experienced only one issue with the device, and it is a fairly major one. That is the stated 330' range of the exterior sensor. In order to have the exterior sensor not in the sun during any part of the day I needed to place it about 25' away from the base station with one interior wall (wood stud) and one exterior wall (wood stud with fiberglass insulation). To my disappointment, no connection. I ended up settling on a location about 15' away through one exterior wall only. Two other minor issues - when changing batteries you apparently need to have both initialize both base and remote at the same time - a pain when the remote is, well, remote. Also, I hear that the batteries in the remote don't last long - makes sense if they are out in frigid weather having to work continously.
