Holds the right amount November 5, 2009 K. Fogg (Colorado) This bag is not too big and not too small.
It holds a pair of tennis shoes and gym clothes with some room to spare.
You could easily fit in a towel and toiletries as well.
It's very sturdy and I expect it will hold up for many years.
My husband takes this with him to work so the subdued colors are something he prefers. He's been very happy with this duffel bag.
A Good Small Bag November 3, 2009 Christopher Franceschi 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I like this bag. The color is nice, and it has a good amount of space for the overall size of the bag. It has a variety of useful compartments and even mp3 or cd player accessibility. It is durable too. Overall, this bag fulfills all its expectations.
Buyers' Beware! October 26, 2009 A. Stern (Monroe, NJ United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is my first ever review while I've bought probably over a hundred products on Amazon over the years. Usually I'm very pleased with the top suggested offer, so when I searched for a standard duffel bag to carry my gym clothes or take for weekend trips, I saw this High Sierra Bubba Duffel at the top of the list.
Well I've had the bag for only about a week now and within that time, both of the two zippers to open the main section of the bag have become dislodged and I can no longer zip the bag. IT HAS NO USE TO ME AFTER ONLY A WEEK.
I will contact the company as they claim to have a "Lifetime Warranty"... glad my lifetime has been longer than ONE WEEK!
Duffle of Duffles October 23, 2009 Tj Mathews 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I read a lot of the reviews on Amazon and, from experience, found them to be true. The bad is pretty durable, good for taking with you to the gym as well as for a short travel. The pocket in the front has a lot of space in it but doesn't subtract from the space inside the bag where most of things one will use will be placed. It only has one side pocket, which made me a little sad. The side pocket has a pocked within it, a good place for storing things like watches and wallets if you need to. I wouldn't suggest using the water holder though because in my experience those designs fail. The pocket is good for plastic water bottles but as you'll notice when you buy the bad, it doesn't have a bottom, instead the side of the water holder is attached to the bag. This means if you force it in there it will rip the bag or possibly push the water bottle out. That is the only flaw I found with this bad. Otherwise the zippers are big and easy to find and I would recommend this bag to anyone who is thinking of buying it.
Smaller than described October 14, 2009 Kul Day (Seattle, WA) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
The published measurements are the same as the bag I am replacing. However, this duffel actually only measures 8.5x9.5x22 at its widest. Moreover, it tapers towards the top so the opening is hardly wide enough to let my sparring head gear in. Sorry to return it but all my gears and uniform don't comfortably fit in it. Appearance and quality looks great though.
