Makes pancake boobs disapear October 24, 2009 LAK (Newtown, PA United States) I couldn't give this bra a 5 star simply becaue there is NO bra on earth that feels like you're not wearing it. Apparently this feat is just impossible.
However, I will say after a week of wearing this bra, I'm liking it (didn't like it so much at first try on, but kept it) I was caught by Oprah's review of this bra, so I thought I'd try it. I come from wearing a sports bra that seperated, but didn't lift my sad 'girls', which are miles away from "perky". I really needed some lifting and seperating, but the sports bra didn't give enough support & I also don't like "headlights". This bra, with the underwire, does support & the cut keeps the 'girls' seperated. The padding is stiff, which is useful because while you can't make a 'pancake' fill what looks like a very perky cup, the stiffness creates the illustion of a perkie-ness. So it fills in where I can't. The padding is wonderful & eliminates 'headlights' on cold days. Straps are comfortable. I will say measure yourself before you purchase; some reviews I read suggested this, but I said, nah, I know I'm a 38D since that's the size of my sports bra, but I'm a 36C in this brand. As far as digging in, I don't find that it does it if I'm using good posture, but slouching in the car does make this bra uncomfortable. I'm abotu 5'5" & about 145lbs,and had two kids (chest went from an A Cup to a eventually deflated C Cup. Ugh) so that might help give you an idea of my weight in comparison to the size I wear & how it fits. Only two hooks in the back on this size. Darn that tag in the back; I don't want to cut it off since I'll forget the size next time I want to re-order. Why don't they print this stuff on the back like the do with T-shirts!! Not bad for this bra. It's a good deal.
Not the one October 18, 2009 A. GLINSEY Too bulky... When you have big breast the last thing you was is a bulky bra... It felt more like body armor than a bra! I know a lot of women like lined bras for nipple coverage how ever the lining in this bra much like most bras from this maker is more like stiff card board which doesn't move comfortably.
Le Mystere Bra - Dream Tisha September 12, 2009 S. McGinnis Great t-shirt bra. This is probably the 4th one I've purchased over the past 5years or so. They hold up really good and fit nicely. I will purchase another one when this one finally wears out.
I'll Never Go Back! July 30, 2009 Bhee (Southern CA) It used to be when I found a bra that fit and was comfortable, I'd buy more than one. I wouldn't mind spending $30-$40 on a "good" bra. But I never liked the way I sagged in them, but hey, I'm big chested and I guess that's just the way it is. A push up bra made me look ridiculous. Now this bra - called Oprah's favorite bra - is different. It lifts me up in a natural way...it looks like I've lost 15 pounds and I don't sag like an old woman. (I AM an old woman, but I don't want my sagging breasts to be broadcasting that!) I did go to the web site and measured like they said and I bought the same size cup as always, but a size larger band. That wasn't right for me, and I ended up going back to the same size band I always wore. I should not have sized up. It's tight, yes, but hey, I look better in clothes now and it's well worth it. The price is not too much to pay for this result....I'd rather have two of these than 5-6 of any other bra I've ever worn. If you're a DD like me (that would be an E in this bra) this will make you look amazing.
no thanks July 15, 2009 B&Kmom (Magnolia, TX USA) I really really wanted to love this bra because of all of the great reviews. Although it is true that it is best to try on bras before you buy them, and get a professional fitting, I wear a 36DD in every brand that I have tried on at a store, and I own dozens of bras from various makers, but this bra is the first one that is too small for me around the band. So, I bought a bra "extender" but then had a second problem --I am 5'3" and a little short-waisted and the hard sides of the bra poke me under my arms and distract me all day. It does "lift" tremendously well, but I don't understand why this brand doesn't size their bands accurately.
