I'm a first-time 'gamma' at 62, but the one thing I want to stress to new moms regarding using this product: Use these traction-bottom Mary Jane socks rather than shoes on your babies! Sure, the little shoes are cute for dress up once in a while, but please do some on-line research or check w/your pediatrician: babies need to exercise their feet as they are discovering their feet, learning to sit up, to crawl, to stand, and to walk; and they can't do that if their little pinkies are crammed into the little cutesy shoes! Okay, stepping down from my soapbox now to discuss this product: I absolutely love these, particularly the quality. I wasn't thrilled about paying $4 a pair, but they are worth it, in my opinion.
ONE CRITICAL NOTE: and I would not have known this unless I had read the reviews on here and, and I would have bought too small: these (as most socks) run 'small' so I would buy a larger size. My granddaughter just turned 5 months old and, granted, she is going to be a tall one and was wearing 9-12 month sizes at 4 months. However, these socks fit her NOW--and I bought the 1-2 YEARS size. As one purchaser noted: if these are smallish, the heel will alway be sliding down on baby's foot, giving the appearance that the 'shoe' is not all the way on the foot resulting in your always tugging and pulling up. Definitely opt for a larger size. The only thing I would change is that there be more 'traction' material on the bottoms. Therefore, I will look around for another brand that provides more gripping material on the bottoms of the socks. I would definitely recommend this product and will buy for baby gifts.

We received these socks as a gift and have loved them. We get more comments on them than any cute outfit she wears. They stay on well too. I wish they did not scream the brand name on the bottom of the socks and I agree that they are not 0-12 months. The sizing should be subdivided into at least 2. My daughter wears 6 month size clothing and they fit perfectly now. I don't know how much longer they will fit. I found that the coloring matches perfectly with the shades offered by Gerber and Carter's clothing.

I can't tell you how much my daughter wore these socks. It was an easy way to dress up any outfit because they come in so many colors! Plus, they are so much more comfortable and cheaper than patent leather shoes or other dress shoes. This is my favorite gift to give to a new mom as well because they are so darling and are sold at all the high end boutiques. I also purchased them for my neice and she got tons of use out of them as well!! Buy them in all sizes!
