Well made bottle holder. October 14, 2009 TONYD11 (MISSOURI) I really like the fact that this bottle holder is adjustable. I usually carry a 24 ounce insulated bottle and it fits easily. It holds various size bottles securely.
this is a very good product... October 4, 2009 P. Shaw (Campbell, CA USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
i have used this cage for years on bike after bike. it's very durable, looks good and works to perfection except the rubber "o" rings fall off too easily but still a 5 star recommended buy... i just wish that topeak also made a side load version of this cage...
Works well with my Stainless Steel Water Bottle September 28, 2009 Mac Harris (Covington, GA USA) I bought this cage to hold a Thermos 18-Ounce Stainless Steel Hydration Bottle, Charcoal It mounts and adjusts easily and it is easy to get my bottle in and out without a lot of looking at it/slowing down. The only thing I can say that even approaches a negative about this cage is that it does slightly mar the surface of the brushed aluminum on the bottle - not scratch it, but you will be able to see where it contacted the bottle as you take it out and put it back in. It is very slight, and seems to mostly disappear when I rub the bottle, but it would not be fair to not mention it. It is also only fair to mention that Topeak makes an all-Nylon cage that I could have chosen if keeping my bottle in pristine appearance was all important. It wasn't, I didn't, and I am very happy with my choice.
Too Much September 24, 2009 Kyle Ondy (Blacksburg, VA) I ordered this bottle cage for my commuter bike. While it does seem to work alright, standard cages just do a better job at holding the bottle in place. The adjustable bottle cage is just a solution without a problem, although it does work.
Great bottle cage September 13, 2009 C. Jones (Sacramento, CA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I spent a lot of time looking for a bottle cage that would accept a coffee container as well as a water bottle. This was the only one I found that was easily adjustable by turning a set screw. I also purchased the Nissan hot/cold thermos container that allows me to carry either cold or hot contents and it fits perfectly in this bottle cage. This Modula waterbottle cage is well made and looks professional but is not as durable as the beefier wire type cages. I'm very pleased with it. Although some comments have indicated that a standard plastic water bottle "rattles around" in the holder, the store bought smaller water bottle does not fall out unless you're on a rough trail, however in that case, it would seem prudent for you to use a pull/push valve water container made for that purpose, or buy the larger size of store bought water bottle that fits tighter.
