Product Description Russell Athletic's Tank is an athletic-wear staple that's made from a moisture-wicking, combed ring-spun cotton so it dries four times faster than standard cotton. It will shrink minimally after each wash, ensuring a consistent fit.

Tank Tops September 12, 2009 L. Deneweth (San Francisco, CA United States) Caution: these tank tops run much larger than previous Russell versions. The material is nice and light weight.
White, Blue, and Red are 100% Cotton October 30, 2008 TomBob (Northern Nevada) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
These are nice tank tops for the gym. They are sturdy and durable, but the white one has stretched a little on top. I recently ordered one each of blue, red, and white. All three are 100% cotton. Earlier, I had a gray one that was a cotton/poly mix.
What a bargain! July 31, 2008 esanta (San Jose, CA USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
These shirts are of remarkable quality, especially considering their low price. Very nice material, good fit and finish, and they hold up very well in the wash. The dark colors don't wash out, and the bottom doesn't get all rolled-up and saggy like it often happens with cheap shirts.
They're also fairly long, so if you tuck them in they stay tucked in.
I've bought expensive fancy brand-name shirts that were nowhere near this nice. A great bargain.
horrible tank top April 29, 2008 Jay Tee 2 out of 4 found this review helpful
The product description says it somehow wicks moisture with its "moisture management fabric," when it feels just like a regular cotton tank top. Save some money and just buy the Russell "basic cotton tank," which I prefer over this one. Also, the "full athletic cut" is very awkward. The chest area is very constricting, while the side (love handles) area is overly roomy. Russell is probably marketing this tank top towards the obese.
great workout shirt January 29, 2008 J Bone (Maryland) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I buy the oxford color because they are not 100% cotton. As far as I'm concerned, a cotton/synthetic blend is much better than 100% cotton. I have found that 100% cotton shrinks, and 100% synthetic stinks (even after wash). But the blend seems to combine the best of both. I use Russell shirts three times a week in the gym and machine wash them and they hold up just fine. I think they're a bargain. Keep making them, Russell! Any chance of making other colors in the cotton/synthetic blend?
